Community Self-Help continues to support Ukrainian healthcare facilities operating under the challenging conditions of the ongoing war. A new humanitarian shipment of medicines has been delivered to Shakhtarske City Hospital in Dnipropetrovsk region, responding to the hospital’s current needs.
The delivery was made possible through our cooperation with Andriy Barchyshyn and his initiative “Bridges of Hope: United Kingdom – Ukraine,” which brings together partner organisations and the Ukrainian diaspora in the United Kingdom to support veterans, healthcare facilities and other humanitarian needs in Ukraine.
An important part of this cooperation is also our long-standing partnership with the UK-based organisation Hospice of Hope, as well as the continued support of the Ukrainian community in the United Kingdom.
We sincerely thank Andriy Barchyshyn, Hospice of Hope, members of the Ukrainian diaspora and everyone who contributed to collecting and delivering these essential medicines.
For Community Self-Help, humanitarian response is not limited to individual deliveries. It is an ongoing effort to support people, communities and institutions that continue to provide critical services during the war. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, our organisation has been purchasing and delivering medicines, medical supplies and equipment to healthcare facilities across Ukraine and responding to their evolving needs.
We thank the medical team of Shakhtarske City Hospital for their daily work and dedication to the people they serve.
We continue to support those who support others every day.
