The main principles of charitable support for the Self-Help Communities and the procedure for using funds
Over the years, international organisations, universities, partner organisations and concerned Ukrainians have supported the Community Self-Help for more than UAH 4,000,000.00. The benefactors' funds were used to purchase: medicines for frontline hospitals and the Defenders of Ukraine, protective equipment, logistics costs, training of more than 300 community leaders and NGOs in different parts of Ukraine, more than 20 tons of humanitarian aid, organised and supported more than 15 visits of international experts who trained Ukrainian social workers, doctors, volunteer psychologists; developed a mobile application PFA Mobile Ukraine - a pocket-sized rescuer's assistant for first aid. A platform for volunteers was created https://volonter.org.
More activity information is available on the news page and in the projects section.
80% of the funds received on the accounts of the Community Self-Help NGO are used exclusively for statutory, humanitarian activities, projects, and direct assistance to frontline hospitals, the Defenders of Ukraine, refugees and other sensitive categories of the population.
20% of the funds are allocated to administrative expenses that ensure the NGO's functioning and sustainability. Annual reports are published in the ‘About Us’ section and are already available online.
Actual fundraising is ongoing on this page.
