Colonel Oleksii Siroshtan, Head of the Military Institute of National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv, and Marta Pyvovarenko, Head of the Department "Quality Assurance in MHPSS" at the Community Self-Help NGO, congratulated cadets on successfully completing a specialized training program as part of The “Supporting the Mental Health of Children in De-Occupied Territories of Ukraine” Project. Each participant received a certificate recognizing their achievement.

This series of training sessions, led by experts from Community Self-Help in collaboration with Boston Children's Hospital at Harvard University, is designed to build a long-term support system for children and families in de-occupied regions. The program brought together representatives from police, the State Emergency Service, civil-military cooperation units, and mobile team psychologists. Over the course of five sessions across five regions, participants developed trauma-informed intervention skills to better support communities affected by war.

The “Supporting the Mental Health of Children in De-Occupied Territories of Ukraine” Project is implemented by the Boston Children's Hospital's Global Health Program of Harvard University (USA) in partnership with the NGO “Community Self Help” (Ukraine).
