"Community Self-Help" continues to strengthen and broaden its collaboration with the Health Cluster. Recently, Vitaliy Kharechko, the head of the organization, met with specialists from the Cluster to discuss ongoing initiatives.
In 2023-2024, "Community Self-Help" registered three Humanitarian Procurement Requests (HRPR) under the numbers 406716458, 406718612, 507787177 for the Dniprovsky Ophthalmological Hospital and Pershotravenska Hospital. These requests, submitted since March 2023, were fulfilled by "Ärzte der Welt" ("Doctors of the World"), who delivered the requested medications.
In March 2024, the responsible specialist from "Community Self-Help" completed the Health Cluster Activity Planning Module 2024 regarding assistance activities for hospitals in Dnipro, Pershotravensk, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia. The convenience of being able to update this activity continuously throughout the year is highly appreciated. Plans for training in psychosocial support are underway, and once these training sessions become a reality, adjustments will be made to the plan accordingly, including adding training sessions and providing reports on them.
In March, "Community Self-Help" reported through the Health Cluster Response Monitoring Module (RMM) - 5Ws 2024 on medicines sent to the Dniprovsky Ophthalmological Hospital in February 2024 and on tactical medicine for paramedics of the Joint Forces Operation in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
