Medicines for the hospitals of Kharkiv and Dnipro
13.03.2022

Dear friends, thanks to Misha Iakovenko, over the last week, Community Self-Help in Poland has purchased 36053,51 złoty (over $8000) worth of vital medication for hospitals in Kharkiv and Dnipro, including antihemorrhagic agents, bandages, tourniquets, burn kits, neck braces, gloves, adhesive bandages, and more.

Wesleyan University and City of Middletown and Katja Kolcio. Thank you for helping Kharkiv and Dnipro.

We want to express our gratitude to the entire Community Self-Help team, including Marta Pyvovarenko, Roman Kharechko, Ivan Poberezhniak, Vitalii Kharechko, and all volunteers who have helped to transport the supplies to and across the border, find a warehouse, transport the supplies to Lviv, and, from there, get them to Kharkiv and Dnipro.

And this is just the beginning. The more time goes by, the more supplies, medicine, and tactical medkits we will need. Everyone fighting for the independence of Ukraine against Russian aggression must know that we—volunteers—have got their backs.
