International Recognition for Our Child Support Project
22.10.2024

We are thrilled to share an important milestone for our team at the NGO "Community Self-Help"—this month, our efforts were featured in the WHO Health Cluster Bulletin.

The Health Cluster, led by WHO, is a coordination mechanism focused on ensuring efficient and collaborative efforts among organizations to provide healthcare services and support Ukraine's medical system and war-affected population.

We are incredibly proud to be part of such a significant initiative. This recognition confirms that our project on psychosocial support for children, implemented in collaboration with Boston Children’s Hospital at Harvard University, aligns with Ukraine's urgent needs and international standards of humanitarian assistance.

We firmly believe that the Global Course on Psychosocial Support for children in difficult life circumstances, aimed at creating real change for families in de-occupied areas, is strategically essential for future generations of Ukrainians.

For us, this is not just a project—it is a mission to establish a sustainable support system for those who represent the future of our country: our children. We remain dedicated to ensuring that children in de-occupied communities receive the support they need, and that specialists are equipped with the necessary skills to provide it.

We are grateful for the trust placed in us and continue to work towards meaningful change.

This project is implemented by the Global Health Program of Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard University (USA), in partnership with the NGO "Community Self-Help" (Ukraine).
