Between August and October 2024, the NGO "Community Self-Help" organized five training sessions as part of the Global Course on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for children in wartime conditions.
The sessions brought together 120 representatives from mobile teams, police, the State Emergency Service, and civilian-military cooperation from five regions of Ukraine:
23 participants from Kyiv region,
48 from Mykolaiv region,
20 from Kherson region,
29 from Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
The number of participants significantly exceeded expectations, highlighting the urgent need for programs that promote children’s mental health in Ukraine.
The project "Supporting Child Mental Health in De-Occupied Territories of Ukraine" is implemented by the Global Health Program of Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard University (USA), in partnership with the NGO "Community Self-Help" (Ukraine).
