The partnership between the Community Self-Help organization and Olena Lehka from the Mykolaiv Regional Foundation "Support for Children" has resulted in support for hospitals and clinics in Mykolaiv. One of the requests from a surgeon in Mykolaiv was the need for a colovortex to assist in complex cases involving children affected by war.
Through collaboration with Ukrainian volunteers in Germany, contact was established with the German organization Difaem, which purchased and delivered a high-quality colovortex to the Mykolaiv hospital. In the photo, Mykolaiv doctor Serhiy Chernyshov, a talented and professional pediatric neurosurgeon, is seen. He urgently requires a modern operating room to save children's lives. With the new colovortex, the number of saved children is expected to increase.
We all understand the importance of modern and quality instruments for medical professionals. We have ambitious plans, including a plan to equip the neurosurgical operating room. To enhance our ability to implement plans and do more, the Community Self-Help organization has consolidated efforts to provide humanitarian support to hospitals and clinics in Mykolaiv and the Mykolaiv region together with the Mykolaiv Regional Foundation "Support for Children" and Olena Lehka.
It is an honor for us to contribute to the preparation and implementation of humanitarian aid, and we express our gratitude for the assistance from our friends in Mykolaiv!
